Dude, Where's my cars?

The idiocy is not confined to the federal level. The State of California has admitted that it has lost nearly half of its vehicle fleet.

California State officials can locate only 40,000 of the 70,000 vehicles that the taxpayers bought and paid for. The good news, though, is that the missing vehicles should be easy to locate. They include bright orange Cal-Trans highway repair trucks, black and white Highway Patrol cars and bright red fire engines.

"Lessee... (lifting couch) No cars here."
