President announces bold new goal

Bush vows that he and his administration's multi-tasking ability will be trustworthy by Jan. 2009

Speaking to a crowd of reporters Monday President Bush announced sweeping changes in how he and the federal government will conduct business. The President used his rare press appearance to promise the American people that in the three short years left in his term, he and the federal government will work hard to develop and demonstrate the ability to multi-task.

"By the time I'm finished (being) president, I hope you'll realize that the government can do more than one thing at one time and individuals in the government can."

The President is serious about meeting this new goal. In fact reporters overheard him muttering "I can do more than one thing at one time," to himself as he toured the areas ravaged by Hurricane Katrina.
