Blair again convinces Bush not to bomb "anti-democracy" media outlet

Word out of London is that once again Prime Minister Tony Blair used his calming influence to talk US President George W. Bush from bombing a media outlet which the American leader accused of lending support and comfort to the enemy. The target of Bush's ire was the British paper The Globe and Mail which published this.

The Globe and Mail is not a British newspaper, it is Canadian, published in Toronto.

I don't take this rumour seriously. It would be a completely idiotic thing to do for Bush to bomb Canada or particularly Britain, their only true ally in the Iraq war. The international repercussions would be incredible.
