Courageous Long Island county takes action to protect health workers

Nassau County (NY) commissioners took a courageous stand today to protect hospital workers from being forced to view homosexuals holding hands and other obscene displays when visiting their "long time partners" in county hospitals.

Homosexual activists had argued for a "domestic partnership" registry which would have, among other things, given society's stamp of approval on the notion that just because two people have been in a relationship for years, they are somehow entitled to have a say in each other's health decisions or have the right to be at the bedside of their dying partner.

Way to go, Nassau County!
